Why a Surface Cleaner Beats a Wand
Clean a driveway with a pressure wand and you get stripes: wide clean bands with dirty lines between them, wherever the spray pattern overlapped or missed. It’s easy to etch the surface too, especially on older concrete.
A flat surface cleaner spins its jets inside a hood just above the concrete, so it cleans in an even pass with no lines. It’s faster on big areas and gentler on the surface, and it’s how we clean every driveway.

Moss, Algae and the Green Stripe Down the Middle
Concrete is porous, and in a wet climate algae and moss grow right into it. That’s the dark, slick strip down the center of a driveway, and the green on the north side of a walkway.
Wait too long and those stains set in. A regular cleaning keeps concrete closer to the color it was poured, and keeps walkways and steps from turning slick in the rain.
Exposed Aggregate, Pavers and Stamped Concrete
Exposed aggregate
The stones in an aggregate driveway trap growth between them. A surface cleaner gets into those gaps without loosening the stones.
Pavers
Paver patios and walkways collect moss in the joints. We clean the faces of the pavers and the gaps between them.
Stamped concrete
Stamped and colored patios clean up evenly with the surface cleaner, and look like new afterward.

Will cleaning damage my concrete?
We use a surface cleaner instead of a wand on flatwork, which cleans evenly and is easier on the surface.
Can you get oil stains out?
We can lighten oil and grease stains. How much comes out depends on how old and deep the stain is, and we’ll tell you what to expect when we see it.
Do you clean paver patios?
Yes. Paver patios and walkways are a common job for us.
How long before I can park on it?
Right away. The concrete just needs to dry, and you can walk and drive on it once we’re done.
